Factors affecting purchases during christmas.

This chart represents the questionnaires conducted during the christmas period, gathering information on what factors influence the consumers choices when deciding on a product and which store to go into. (This was directed for consumers personal shopping, excluding the shopping of gifts for the seasonal festivities)

the most disturbing window display....ever.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2134555/Lush-animal-testing-protest-Woman-subjected-experiments-horrified-shoppers.html

This was the most disturbing window display I've ever heard of.
Im all for the against animal testing subject but did they really have to bring it to attention this way?

I think that window displays are becoming more and more of platform to promote political statements and understandings. They are acting more of a theory or position promoting platform than that of just a store or brand promotion platform. Should i consider this in my design? What political aspect would fit in with my design?

As well as disturbing and very influential I found this article to be most inspiring, as to that window displays can indeed have a higher calling and help to promote important issues and not just for consumer promoting needs!!

Forever 21's fashion holograms.

Kinda of a repeat of the Alexander McQueen show but it does show that the technology is branching and getting more focus, recognition and use!!

This could be the start of the next generation of catwalk shows and events!!!!

Though again...it does not have the same feel as having the real thing in front of you. Does that mean the audiences experience will be dulled a bit more than usual? Would it even affect the audiences experience or enhance it?

Future employer?..I hope.

Can I hope to be here one day? Or maybe freelance. This is the type of work I'm aiming for. Displays and Exhibitions within its own small space. The art of window displays comes into its own!
