the most disturbing window display....ever.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2134555/Lush-animal-testing-protest-Woman-subjected-experiments-horrified-shoppers.html
This was the most disturbing window display I've ever heard of.
Im all for the against animal testing subject but did they really have to bring it to attention this way?
I think that window displays are becoming more and more of platform to promote political statements and understandings. They are acting more of a theory or position promoting platform than that of just a store or brand promotion platform. Should i consider this in my design? What political aspect would fit in with my design?
As well as disturbing and very influential I found this article to be most inspiring, as to that window displays can indeed have a higher calling and help to promote important issues and not just for consumer promoting needs!!

my idea BUT, it want to be at the forefront when this technology advances so that the faliures will become a distant memory
Fails:
Fit is not exact.
Cannot tell the thickness or opaqueness against skin therefore not showing the exact way of wear.
Possible technical failures?

Forever 21's fashion holograms.
http://fashionista.com/2011/10/forever-21s-hologram-fashion-show-was-amazing-is-it-the-future-of-fashion/
Kinda of a repeat of the Alexander McQueen show but it does show that the technology is branching and getting more focus, recognition and use!!
This could be the start of the next generation of catwalk shows and events!!!!
Though again...it does not have the same feel as having the real thing in front of you. Does that mean the audiences experience will be dulled a bit more than usual? Would it even affect the audiences experience or enhance it?

New breakthrough technology allowing the introduction of 3-Dimensional interaction with holograms!!
Will this be the next break through in modern advertising?
Other interesting exapmles of this new technology being used comes in the form of entertainment!
- the Snoop Dog concert ft. Tupac (back from the dead?.....)
and the more recent Black Eye Peas concert!!!
Problem though....the projections across the stage have limited movement and god forbid anyone try to touch them!!

update so far.
The products i will be designing the space for is for the fashion pieces of my friend Bella. A fashion graduate from Brighton City and hove College 2009.
She is a local and has only recently started up her own brand.
Her works consist of the Spring trends but she has only lent a few items for me to promote. This is due to the fact that she is still working on the rest of her designs.
Spring trends: pastels, block color, knits, chiffon and frills and pletes.
Very feminine and soft. nature inspired- the main influence and inspiration for my design.

Not very good at this.....
Its been a while since I've updated, and as my premonition presented. Im rubbish at keeping blogs. Diaries i can do but online blogs?... maybe I'm just not suited to the technology life, yet it is something that i cannot afford to be ignorant about since the world is growing at an ever fast pace. I need to keep up, or get left behind!!!!
